The
Second Chance Ensemble was born in Tampere - Finland in September 2007, as a remake of a gospel choir experiment called
Sound of Hope, initially put together with fund-raising means in the spring of 2004 but closed just about a year later. The results of the one year long intensive vocal training undertaken by this new small group of beautifully talented young artists in 2007 not only had an extremely rewarding outcome this time, but revealed itself to be an inspirational base for growth when director Grazia Secondi and manager Aino-Maija Kyykoski founded the
Second Chance music association in the winter of 2008.
We owe big thanks to all those who have encouraged and supported our activity all along, especially to maestro
Nehemiah H. Brown and sir
Emmanuel Eneh.
The journey never ends...
